I used to take this sport as a hobby, but now it has become my profession and I love this profession deeply.”

In ten years, Ma Li has been to many paraglider venues, but this is the first time he has come to Yongjing and the first time he has flown on the bank of Bingling Lake in the Three Gorges of the Yellow River. “This place is so beautiful, no matter the weather or geographical conditions, it is very suitable for flying. I didn’t know there were such a good paraglider venues in China before, and I will ask my teammates and umbrella friends to join me in the future.”

Para-gliding became the Asian Games event for the first time as one of the eight non-Olympic events this year. As a national team athlete, Ma Li also participated in the Asian Games. “Just like the mood at that time, take the game seriously, try hard to enjoy the game, go all out, and hope that I can get a good result in this league.” Ma Jie said.

Liu Jiaxia international gliding camp is located on the north shore of the Liujiaxia Reservoir. It was opened and used by Lanzhou Zhonghao gliding club in 2010. The take-off site is huangjiashan Mountain, Zhao Shan Village, yangta Township. The altitude is 2300 meters, and the landing site is the Liujiaxia Reservoir Weijia wedge, 1720 meters above sea level, with a relative drop of 580 meters.

Xue Feng, head of Lanzhou Zhonghao Gliding Club, said that their club will probably attract dozens of paraglider enthusiasts from inside and outside the province to learn and experience each year. After this National League, he believes that the paraglider games will be known and loved by more people.

According to the introduction, there were 5 matches in the designated league paraglider in 2018. The first stop was completed in Xifeng county, Guizhou province on June 13-15, and Yongjing station in Gansu province was the second stop. The 40 athletes participating in this competition compete in three categories of competitions, including men’s and women’s individual fixed-point and group fixed-point landing. The winner of the total points ranking of the 5-station League will be selected into the national paraglider designated training team in 2019.

At 6 pm on the 13th, the results of the competition on this site were announced. After two days of competition, Wu Yong and long Jingwen from Sichuan team ranked first in the men’s group and the women’s group with scores of 7 points and 9 points respectively, sichuan team won the first place in the group with a total score of 38 points.
