On that day, Curry took a vivid basketball class for 30 junior high school students together with the physical education teacher of the high school affiliated to Huazhong University of Science and Technology and coach Louis tewiger of NBA elite training center. During the training, Curry first took the students to conduct high-intensity defensive training such as foot movement and jumping, and corrected the students’ posture from time to time. The Ministry of Education and NBA China jointly held the 2018 national primary and secondary school campus basketball teacher training camp in August, physical education teachers from 4000 campus basketball characteristic schools across the country participated in online and offline course training. This year, the scale of offline training camps continues to expand, with 15 provinces, cities and autonomous regions added to the training coverage. More basketball teachers in the central and western regions have become beneficiaries.
Starting from September, the foreign teacher’s return visit activity in the new school year was officially launched. Curry started a return visit to Wuhan’s foreign teachers’ campus on behalf of Jr.NBA this time. More than 20 basketball teachers in Wuhan who participated in this year’s training camp and performed well were also invited to observe the demonstration course of that day.
