This is the first time that the Chinese national elephant team has crowned the Olympic Games “double champion King”! The last time the Olympic team met the “double championship”, which was created by the former Soviet Union at the 1986 Olympic games 32 years ago.
In the Men’s match of the top three, all four Chinese men’s teams were matched, drawing the US team at 2:2. In the 11 rounds of battle, China scored 18 points with the United States and Russia. In the end, the Chinese team won the championship with the advantage of small points.
The Chinese women’s team lost first in this round, and the prospect of winning the championship was slightly bleak. The Olympic chess team competition is the largest, highest level and most influential chess team competition in the world. The competition kicked off on September 23 in Batumi, Georgia. More than 300 teams and thousands of players from more than 100 countries and regions participated in the competition.
